Wall Murals
The waves won't look like that, I'm still trying to figure out how I want them to look, just needed something temporary for now to show there will be waves there.
Comments and Constructive Critique always welcome!
Interesting project.
I think the dragon looks good, nice design. I'm sure the waves will look spectacular when they're finished. Is it going to cover the entire wall?
It's only going to cover probably a quarter of the wall. There will be another mural in the adjacent corner.
@Donnieman v5.1:
lol, thanks. Makes my room super dark, it's awesome.
@Darkchild: Thanks man!
@IcePrince_X: Thanks dude!
@Constantine: Hahaha, yeah... they're alright I suppose but when I paint with acrylics my painting look a little more like stylized realism and less cartoony so I need to figure out how to make the waves match.
@PowerHerc: Thanks! And yeah, my parents are pretty cool. They have a lot of my work displayed around the house. I'm doing murals for sure in my room and my brothers room, may also be doing on in the theater room and my parents room.
hay hay hay girl.
If you haven't painted this on a wall already, might i advise something?
Give the dragon more character. Right now, it's well drawn, but extremely generic 'dragon x'. I always find art to be much more interesting when i have to consider things. Like, maybe he's reading a newspaper, buying an icecream,a huge yankees fan, scared of rough waves, etc.
That way, when you look at it everyday, you can ask yourself, 'what makes this guy/gal tick?'
better example, somebody drew a picture of nintendo characters playing cards. But there was an empty chair that just had luigi's hat. I found that visually interesting. Where did luigi go? why did he leave his hat? etc. It's so much more fun to look at with stuff like that.
