Forest ranger Sidney “Sid” Spade’s life was turned upside down when he discovered a dimensional portal while on patrol in Timberock State Park. Arming himself with an unusual sword found in the hands of a fallen warrior, Ranger Spade fought off monsters crossing through the gateway from an impossible world. The sword sheathed itself as a tattoo on Spade’s right forearm, marking him as the new Gate Guardian; charged with protecting our world from the dangers that come through the dimensional rift and the hidden threats that have already entered our world. Donning the magical uniform worn by the previous Guardian, Sid Spade carries out his newly appointed duties with the aid of his fairy sidekick as the SECRET SWORDSMAN!
