This thread is for the proud parents, Aunt's, Uncle's, Grandparent's, excetra, to post the artwork of their young 'uns.
Here are a few from my eldest daughter to start things off;
These two were done when she was 7, she's 8 now.
I like the side panel she did for this one ^^
The Flash was done at age 6
I hope you enjoy, and I have two more daughters to post from someday :D
Being an art teacher and a workshop moderator for kids 5 years old to 7 years old. I can say these are great. The proportion and lines are there as well as the concept but more than anything I can see in their colors and line they are enjoying it.
It is so much fun seeing kid's art. It is so free and lively.
I have a bulletin board full of stuff from my brothers and one of my cousins who I occasionally do art trades with. All of them are really talented and it always brightens my day to get something new from them.
To start off with, I'll share two pictures of a few of my favorite characters drawn by my ten year old brother:
A scary Happy Mask Salesman! :O
The Flash vs. Doctor Octopus (I fear Flash'll leave the poor Doctor in knots)!
Thank you, that's what this threads all about :) I hope to see more come thru.
Like them not for the actual art work, but the creativity behind it. For example the Mystery inc. picture. Any child can draw a picture (not to be offensive or judging) but the positions and actions of the Scooby Doo gang is what i love. They are not just standing around smiling like most kids draw, there is some for lack of a better word imagination behind it. Just look at Scooby resting on shaggy and the position of shaggy's legs. Very imaginative and I am impressed
Although she does draw non-static pictures on her own, I'm sorry to say the Mystry Inc. one was copied from a Scooby-Doo pic I found somewhere. The Smurf story was all her own.
Thank you, I let my daughter read your comment and explained what it ment, she was very excited to hear it :)
