@Kamitosis: OMG, everything this week gets the F YEAH reaction here, man did Pixie come out super cool.
and then I keep scrolling and see more and more epicness.
Someones been drinking their red bull :D
lol not red bull... just ridiculous amounts of coffee. Ridiculous. But thank you. I think this new method for tablet work is really helping.@Kamitosis: OMG, everything this week gets the F YEAH reaction here, man did Pixie come out super cool.

Working on Mercury tonight, and then Anole and Rockslide tomorrow.@Kamitosis: OMG, everything this week gets the F YEAH reaction here, man did Pixie come out super cool.

I agree, you're mixing in more dynamics into your shadings. It's almost like there's an additional layer of details being put into it :)
@tonis said:i really like this picture. the perspective is different, but subtly. i have a hard time with anything other than straight on esp foreshortening. really nice. Thanks, it took awhile. Giving Pixie the digital ink treatment now for X-Kiddies week.@Kamitosis: whoa, that is a KILLER rendition of dust, very cool on the special fx ;)
Thank you.@Kamitosis: whoa, turning up the volume for the weekend eh :)
Mercury came out sweet, great job getting that chromish look. Anole came out cool too and your Rockslides are getting as good as your Jubes.
Thanks. Yeah I was kind of giddy that I managed to get this right.@Kamitosis: yea, I actually caught this one off the tumbler just a lil bit ago, very beautiful job, especially without reference. It's passionate and romantic, has a lot of emotion to it. Well done :)
@Kamitosis: you didn't just get it right, you nailed it :)
backgrounds nice as a gradient like that, helps keep the focus on their forms.
It gives it a more clean line quality. Before I was using the paint brush and it had a softer tone. This ends up emulating ink pens and that was the feel I had wanted from the start. I wish I had known about it sooner.@Kamitosis: dude, WICKED SWEET :D
That's almost a absolute perfect translation from reference to shot. What is this 'ink well' feature of which you speak? What is it doing on the inks?
I do like how it turns out :)

yea, with a brush your always battling with it 'being a brush'. So does this vectorize the lines or is it like a raster filter. It is very clean, looks vector actually.

haha I hadn't even noticed that, but he totes does!@Kamitosis: haha, no one is safe from the scourge of porn spam :D
That second frame cracks me up, he looks like he's trying to get a 'gulp' down.
Really been drawing too much Xarus lately (but hey, I think I am the only one doing fanart of him, and he's so much fun to RP) Here he is with Jubilee (a scene from the RP) Drawing is called "Pet"
Thanks and lol only for now. I'm giving the Jubster a bit of a break. And no one else draws him so someone has to. And I think he's testing the blood alcohol level of a finely aged O neg.@Kamitosis: hehe, so Xarus has become your new Jubes eh.
very sophisticated pose, it's like he's about to give a professional wine analysis. :)

ahh that type O aged just right has a lotta kick. Good thing it's not mine, he'd probably end up tripping XD
That's not a bad strategy to tackle the characters in need of more exposure like that, very slick ;)
Thanks, it really is a pity he only lasted for 12 issues, I thought he had some awesome potential.@Kamitosis said:
