Hey guys, hope you give me some feedback. And if you like it, I'll place a new page each week, on Wednesday, to see how far I can take it.
SPIDERMAN meets BATMAN: My way.
@blackdog2009: Hehe, sweet idea, if you posted more I would definitely check them out ^_^
@bumpyboo: thank you I will. Page 2 next. ;)
@blackdog2009: while I love the old spidey design, your close up on bats in the second pag elooks awful
Got it. Tell me what turns you off about it. For reference in the next page. And thanks for the feedback.
@durakken: lol never crossed my mind, but thanks for the observations... And just for fun and experimentation give me suggestions where the story goes, I'm making it up as I go along and I welcome ideas... You be the writers ;). I can't promise ill do all of them but I will try to incorporate suggestions.
@blackdog2009: the best page you did so far is page 3
@clemj: thank you ...glad you like it!
Wow! This is great! How long have you been drawing? There is a very 70s-80s feel to the way you draw. Keep it up. You are off to a great start! Some things look abit flat at times. I struggle with this as well. Use different stroke sizes to make things further way darker and things closer lighter. Apply it to the your background images as well. They will be darker but will help to bring your panels to life. Also use a ruler to make light pencil marks as guides for you to write on. Your text balloons are hard to read. But these are great! Thanks for posting this and keep practicing!
@arinya: Thank you for the compliments and the advice. I really appreciate it and will definitely keep them in mind. I've been drawing for a long time but just gotten heavily into the sequential storytelling. You can check out my other threads around here in this forum if you like.
@mikesterman: I'm working on it. :)
