'Solomon Grundy, born on a Moon's Day, christened on Tiw's Day, married on Woden's Day, took ill on Thor's Day, grew worse on Frigg's Day, died on Saturn's Day, buried on Sun's Day. That was the end of Solomon Grundy.'

THAT'S an obscure reference if ever I've made one!

Solom Grundy revived as an Undead and tip-toed through the Tulips in the Graveyard!

@the_poet:

My primary program is Sketchbook pro, I use others like PS for post work but this was done with Sketchbook.

@rulerofthisuniverse:

Glad you approve! :)

@farkam:

I agree with you, I did this on the fly, never tried to pass it off as anything spectacular. Had fun doing it and got me warmed up for the new year.

Gotta love them arm chair quarterbacks! Give him a standing ovation!!!

I will try harder next time, hehehe.

Nice job.

@shadowswordmaster:

Thanks, this was basically a rough sketch that I cleaned up and planned to possibly redo at another time with cleaner lines but maybe just as Solomon without the Thor overtones... I want to add a more creepy feel to the piece.

@the_poet:

It's intuitive and well thought out. Easy to learn and pretty much has everything necessary to create great art in my opinion. It's not overbearing with tools everywhere that get in the way. For me it became second nature from the get go in it's simplicity.

@ramsillustrations: That's awesome! Can I use this image some time to write a Fan-Fic about him sometime?

Sure Man, have fun. I may be planning on some more Solomon stuff in the near future, it was my first try with the character and I really liked drawing him. If something clicks I use it to get me to draw some more...
