I hate to see his death, because to me it smacks of DC's killing superman. I know superman dying was a much bigger deal, but I guess he is as close to Superman as marvel has got!

I've always loved Cap. I don't want him to be dead but I have complete faith in Ed Brubaker's writing. It's funny how a comic book called Captain America can still go on without the main character. It's one of my favorite titles right now.

yeah I think its awesome, that his book is still going on,
I think it would be cool if steve didn't come back for a while, and other characters took on the mantel when they felt it was right for certain story lines, and every couple of months they had a new character being cap. It would be fun for a while.
