Red Skull Sketch.

Today I felt like drawing Red Skull, so here it is.

I used the design of Steve Epting (great artist that doesn't get hardly enough credit) with a few slight adjustments of my own. I was going to post a colored version of it, but after all the time I spent on it I finally got to the exporting phase.... and the program crashed! I got so mad I just decided to post it and do the coloring sometime later. You'll have to settle for the sketch for the time being. :P

I must confess I didn't spend much time on the detail of his uniform. I need to work on that.

Anyway, I should stop rambling. Here's the sketch. Enjoy. :)

Interesting, more Silver Age Skull than modern, but still cool! I think it could benefit from more detailing in the uniform though, definitely.

Good Start!

I will say that the fact you could not color this may be a blessing if you allow it. Try drawing it again...This time google 'SKULLS' and use some as references and try again.

While the proportions and structure look in order which is 90% of a image, your missing the 5% that is the details, and the 5% that is your style and flair in your lines.

I really like the shadows and heavy blacks, and a really good job with the coat/jacket, but would love to see this jazzed up with a more fleshed out Skull face to really drive home home sinister the character is.
