Opinions?

Okay, I did not draw this! The person I am working with to create a daredevil fan comic did. I'm not an artist and know nothing about art but it looks good to me, what are your thoughts?

 It doesn't look bad, but did your friend use the Cover of New Avengers 5 as a reference?

Looks good to me. 
But a nicely rendered head doesn't say much about his skills as a sequential artist. 

It's good, the head is a little too tall though, imo

How about this? Drawn freehand but using the picture to help him?
