I'm looking for something for my character. I had sort of an idea.

I want something similar to the woman all the way on the right, i presume its an alternate Invisible Woman. But I want an "I" in the middle of her belt. She has blond hair like that. She has invisible forcefields so make her hands slightly glowing white.

hmmm...

the actual woman and pose is easy... i can do the 'glow' quite easily as well...

it's the creating a "3D mesh" of the costume that actually takes time because you have to create in it 2D first and then "wrap" it round a 3D figure...

never tried creating something like that from scratch before though so don't know

well you can do it in 2-D then and put it in another thread if you like. im not going to force you to do this so if you dont want to, no sweat.

I'll have a go...

the 2D bit is actually the hardest because you have to think about it in 3D and then how it will look "unwrapped" onto a 2D surface for you to work on

imagine a cube... to 'paint' it, you first have to unfold it to a flat "cross" shape and then paint it before turning it back into a cube...

I can't wait to start making people in Maya 8.5... before I can get to that I have to build a livable looking room and a robot...
