Hey everyone, hope I'm posting this in the right place --
Earlier this year, I teamed up with artist Jack Purcell (Gotham Underground, Batman, Green Arrow) to work on an original graphic novel. It's called MALICE AND MISTLETOE, and it's a rollicking fun Christmas tale of bloodshed and treachery.
Claus wears suits, smokes cigars, and has his Great Room dressed up with the heads of his reindeer. Mrs. Claus is dead. Krampus has dreads, a peg-leg, and a legion of elves holed up in their Antarctic cave, where they distill a sinister whiskey that's sought after by the world's elite. There's also an assassin -- he's our protagonist.
You can check us out on facebook for updates and art (Jack is amazing), but the major reason I'm posting this is because we've just launched a Kickstarter campaign to help print the first edition of the book. This is essentially a pet project for both of us. An opportunity to do something off-the-wall with zero outside influence and complete creative control. We're trying to raise enough money to print a 1,500 Limited Edition copies and get this thing moving.
