Alexander the Great

Name: Alexander Luthor
Origin: Luthor claims to be Alexander the Great. After his death, he was resurrected and claimed the Spear of Destiny. He now exists in the world as an immortal with the power of a nascent god.
Powers: Superhuman Strength, Speed, Endurance, and senses. Inhuman combat sense, unequalled tactical mind, genius level intellect, and the spear. The Spear of Destiny allows for flight and power blasts channeled through it by Alexander.

Enigma

Riddler + Black Widow
Name: Eden Romanoff
Origin: From birth, Eden was taken by the KGB and enlisted in their Conundrum Program. The program was designed to strip all identity from their spy/killers so that they can come and go as chameleons. And when they left....no trace of them was found. Eden was a mute so she was ejected from the program due to defect. She became an assasin for the KGB. After the dissolution of the KGB she was deemed an expendable asset...ready for liquidation. She avoided death and became an international assasin, able to get close to her target, execute, and leave no trace of her existence, confounding her would be captors.
Powers: 37 different fighting styles plus weapon mastery, ordinance mastery, unarmed combat mastery, and mastery of disguise. She knows 14 different languages and can sign in 12 different types of sign language. She uses a cane which can transform into a Manriki Gusari. The cane also contains various compartments.

She-Devil

Scarecrow + Scarlet Witch
Name: Wanda Crane
Origin: Wanda was a certified wiccan. She dabbled in the black arts and soon became a supervillain. She didn't crave money or power....moreso attention. She got it in spades from Wonderman, the preeminent superhero of Metropolis. Wanda was attracted to Wonderman. Wonderman continuously put her into jail, and she kept coming back like a moth to the flame. Dr Sinister, also an on again off again villain of Wonderman, gave Wanda an enchantment to that would make Wonderman her own. Wanda used the enchantment, but to her dismay, it killed Wonderman. Disraught, she searches for a way to restore life to her love. After trying several avenues, she tried to resurrect him from the dead.....what she got, was not necessarily what she wanted.
Powers: Wanda is proficient in a number of black magic arts. She also gives off a fear pheremone that actually enhances the power of her incantations.

Simon Grundy

Soloman Grundy + Wonderman
Real Name: Simon Grundy
Origin: Simon was Wonderman, the preeminent superhero of Metropolis. On a routine mission to take out the She-Devil, Wonderman was fatally struck down. In her grief, She-Devil brought Simon back from the dead with horrifying results. Grundy was still as powerful as he was when he was Wonderman, but now he was a zombie. He slavishly follows She-Devil around, although she now wants nothing to do with him. She-Devil has turned her affections toward the Imposter, which has been the source of discomfort to say the least.
Powers: As Wonderman Grundy could fly, had superhuman strength, speed and endurance. Grundy maintains these abilities as well as a regeneration capability.

Lady Powerhouse

Giganta + Ms Marvel
Real Name: Doris Danvers
Origin: Doris Danvers was the only female astronaut sent on the first interstellar manned flight. There was an event where (what is known as a stargate) appeared and sucked the shuttle through to a parallel dimension. The Earth they crash-landed on was a miniature copy of our Earth. They astronauts were seen as giants. After assuring them they came in peace, the miniature inhabitants shared their shrinking technology with them so that they could choose to be the same size. Doris knew she could make money from the tech, so she stole the ray and left her co-pilots behind. nce back on our Earth she used the ray not knowing that use in this dimension would have the opposite effect. The ray exploded, but gave Doris the ability to grow. She was dishonorably discharged from the Air Force and began a life of crime as Lady Powerhouse.
Powers: Doris has increased height, weight, density, strength, and stamina proportionate to her size.

The Imposter

Bizarro + The Vision
Real Name: None.
Origin: The Imposter came about after She-Devil had accidentally killed Wonderman. She had stolen the body after the funeral and asked if Mr. Knicknack could create a composite body of Wonderman and copy his brain patterns to it. Mr. K said he could but it would not be exactly like the original. He copied Wonderman's brain patterns to the synthezoid and used a synthesized skin taken from Wonderman's cell samples. The residual ionic charge of the cells reacted with the synthezoid's polymor coat and formed a crystal-like substance. The synthezoid looked like a crystalized freak. The brain patterns were also corrupt. He had the memories of Wonderman, but none of the morality. He had fostered a dissociative personality. Realizing he was not the real Wonderman, he took the name of the Imposter.
Powers: Superhuman strength, diamond hard skin, self-sustainability.

Dr Sinister

Sinestro + Dr Strange
Real Name: Stephen (Thaal) Sinister
Origin:Doctor Stephen Thaal was an archaeologist until an accident crippled him. Desperate for a cure, he became the student of the alien sorcerer Parallax The Ancient. He gained more than just his body healed, Stephen gained also immense magical ability.He became the malicious Stephen Sinister, or Doctor Sinister.
Powers: His amulet, the Eye of Parallax allows him to cause those who behold the yellow light to experience their ultimate fear and be driven insane by it. It's counterpart is the Ring of Qward, allowing him to reshape the light into whatever solid shape he can imagine, be it a tool, weapon, or sentient creature that serves his will.

Iron Tyrant

Brainiac + Ironman
Real Name: Tony Stark/Brainiac
Origin: By a sheer chance of luck, Tony Stark had salvage rights to an area in the Indian Ocean. It was there that a super computer from outer space crashlanded. Upon exploration, Stark saved the core system. After he brought it back to the Stark foundation, it made contact with him. It promised him a whole new world of technology and wonder. Stark agreed and merged with Brainiac. By day Anthony Stark is the world reknowned creator, by night he is...The Iron Tyrant.
Powers: Besides the normal functions of powered armor, Stark can also interface with any computer through touch. Also, his body is composed of nanites which allow for an easy switch between identities.

Primate Zero

Grodd + Beast
Name: Hank Grodd
Origin: Hank was an amazing evolutional bio-chemist. He wanted man to reach it's full potential, mentally and physically. To this end, he developed a machine that would speed up the evolutionary process in a person, bringing on thousands of years of change in a matter of hours. As his benefactors threatened to take away funding for his crazy idea, Hank performed the process on himself. It had a wierd effect. Hank's brain was pressed past the point of human conception. He had formed low level ESP and other mental abilities. His body, though, devolved into a great ape. Hank was elated and soon planned to bend the world to his will. He took the name of Primate Zero as a play on Patient Zero (the originator of an outbreak).
Powers: Superhuman strength, endurance, speed, ambidexterity, low level ESP, mind control, telepathic communication.

Mr Knick Knack

Toyman + Pym
Real Name: Winslow Pym
Origin: Winslow Pym was a genius inventor. He used to create all sorts of weaponary for various super hero types. Unfortunately, there was no joy for Pym as he wasn't one of the celebrity hero types nor was he allowed to make patents on his creations for fear of revealing the various heroes super identities. Pym became Genesis, a new gadget laden super hero....and he was horrible. He was nearly beat to death several times. The media mocked him, the public hated him. Then he was invited by Primate Zero and Iron Tyrant to join a new group...one that would return the world's insults with vengence. Pym became their designer taking the name Mr. Knick Knack he would show the world what he was truly capable of...
Powers: Pym possess a brillant mind for science and engineering. He is a skilled inventor and a unsurpassed genius in weapon design. He uses various gadgets when he actually faces opponents.

Captain Cold War

Captain Cold + Captain America
Real Name: Lenin Svetsky
Origin: Cold War politics meets 21st century technology. Russia's supreme soldier program was started the day after Kennedy was assasinated. The Russians feared reprisal and wanted to have an army prepared to fight. Lenin was graded in the top 1% of all the candidates. After completing the process, he was outfitted with a shield and a freeze gun. He became the Russian symbol in their propaganda war against the west. Then the wall fell and heroes...even Russian heroes need to eat. Lenin was approached by the Enigma to join a consortium, he agreed.
Powers: His strength, endurance, agility, speed, reflexes, durability, and healing are at the zenith of natural human potential. He carries a shield made of a vibranium/Nth metal alloy. He also employs a freeze ray.

Devilray

Black Manta + Stingray
Real Name: David Newell
Origin: As a child, David loved the sea and the thought of exploring it as a marine biologist. Then one day his parents were killed in a pirate raid off the coast of Africa. One would think he would swear vengence, but no....David found a new calling. As an adult, the man who would become Devilray designed a costume that was a fully enclosed, armored,defensible, and battle ready. He began to strike as a one man pirateer. scavaging the wreckages of ships he invaded. The Devilray was born.
Powers: An armored exoskeleton suit composed of a superhard artificial cartilage designed mainly for underwater use. The Devilray battlesuit enhances his strength and durability to superhuman levels, which allow him to operate within the crushing pressures of the ocean depths. His suit is equipped with an oxygen-diffusing system providing breathable air almost indefinitely, allowing him to breathe underwater. The suit also gives him enhanced swimming speed and its streamlined wings allow him to glide through air for great distances. The suit's chief offensive weapon is a powerful electrical discharge device built into the exoskeleton, able to project bolts of up to 20,000 volts through air or water and released through the gloves. Blades, miniaturized torpedoes, and energy beams emitted from the eye lenses in his helmet also figure into his weapons array.

The Savage

Cheetah + She Hulk
Real Name: Jennifer Minerva
Origin: Jennifer was a bright girl with a future as a lawyer. At the top of her class in Harvard, it was a shock when she went missing. She was found 4 months later, viciously attacked and on a US military testing site. She claims to have been held captive by a cult of half animal half humans living beneath the testing area. Jen was submitted for observation and psychiatric review. While in observation, she freaked out and turned into a 7 and 1/2 foot green catwoman. She slashed her way out of the base and into the New Mexico desert. Later she is found by Primate Zero and brought into the fold.
Powers: Superhuman Strength, Imperviousness, Speed, Cat like senses, Claws, and cat-like reflexes.

Ms Medusa:

Wonder Woman + Grey Gargoyle

Real Name: Diana Princess Duvall

Origin: Hippolyta, the Amazon Queen, prayed to Zeus and Hera to bless her with a child. The gods took her request and a bit of clay and formed Diana. Diana was a marvelous specimen, beautiful enough to invoke the jealousy of the gods, namely Aphrodite.

Aphrodite was wrought with envy. How dare Zeus bless another with beauty that rivals hers. As she did with Medusa, she cursed Diana with a stone turning gaze. As she struck, Diana guarded herself with the bracelets of the amazons. The bracelets shattered but Diana remained unchanged. Aphrodite was angered and prepared to strike again, but Zeus stayed her hand. Diana turned to celebrate with her sisters but a beam shot out of her eyes. In seconds, she had turned the amazons to stone statues.

Aphrodite laughed. Zeus told Diana that she could save her sisters. She would have to travel to the world of man and obtain the Star Sapphire. The Sapphire could restore her sisters.

Diana went to the world of man and found the Sapphire after a long gauntlet provided by Aphrodite. Aphrodite destroyed the sapphire vowing that Diana would stand as the last of the amazons.

Now Diana searches stories and legends around the world trying to find a way to restore her sisters. To this end, she has opened a museum and moved all of her sisters in as decorations. She collects artifacts from all over the world. She has even joined the Masters of Justice as Ms. Medusa so that she can go to outer space to search out leads there.

Powers: Ms Medusa has enhanced strength, speed, agility, stamina, the ability to fly and her Gorgon's gaze. The Gorgon's gaze allows her to paralyze people in various states, from a simple stun to a full blown statue. She has rarely used its full power due to not having a way to change people back.

Eclipse

Flash + Blackout

Real Name: Marcus West

Origin: Marcus West was a laboratory assistant to Dr. Abner Croit, a physicist hoping to build a device capable of tapping into energies from other dimensions. Croit always looked down on West's inferior knowledge, making him feel useless. West always wondered what it would be like to harness the energy they were researching, to be powerful. After an accident bathed him in the extradimensional energy, he had the chance to find out. Calling himself Eclipse, his body was now flushed with power, becoming a conduit of control of at least 2 dimensions, the darkforce and the speed force. However, despite his powers threatening to go out of control, he escaped from Croit’s attempts to cure him and fled.

As Eclipse, he uses his powers for good, with one horrible side effect. His psyche is being separated over three different dimensions. Who knows how much time he has left...or if a cure can be found.

Powers: Eclipse has control over the speed force and the darkforce. He can attain super speeds plus take or give speed to an object. He also has an ambient control of the darkforce which covers him allowing for blending and teleporting in shadows.

Tempest

Shazam! + The Enchantress

Real Name: Amora Batson

Origin: amora Batson was given power beyond her wildest dreams by the Asgardian god of mischief, Loki (disguised as a wizard named Shazam), but with this gift came uncertainty of her true place in the world. Amora was enthusiastic about using her powers to benefit others in need while finding out about herself in the process. She wanted desperately to be a hero, so when the opportunity to be a part of the Masters of Justice presented itself, she wasn't about to let it slip away; even if it meant manipulating her friend's minds to see her dreams realized. After she joined, the source of her powers was revealed in a battle with Loki. The team was upset. Amora didn't understand, so Dynamo explained how Loki constantly tried to sabotage the Masters with traps and treachery, but he added she didn't have to conform to Loki's design, and she had the power to choose her own path.

Powers: Amora wields different magical abilities: Flight, superhuman strength, stamina, speed. She wields control of the magical lightning, a bolt thgat responds to her telepathic command.

Stormbreaker

Black Vulcan + Whirlwind

Real Name: Tony Cannon

Origin: Tony was a storm chaser and former Olympian diver. He was testing new equipment when the area he was in was ravaged by 5 tornados at the same time. The equipment overloaded and exploded when lightning struck it. Cannon was caught in the blast. It gave him the power to control weather. Cannon adopted the public heroic identity of Stormbreaker and soon found a home with the Masters of Justice.

Powers: Stormbreaker has the ability to control weather. His main standbys are lightning manipulation and cyclone creation as a means of flight.

Dr. Atomic

The Atom + Atlas

Real Name: Eric Palmer

Origin: Eric Palmer was a renowned physicist and professor. After stumbling onto a mass of white dwarf star matter that had fallen to Earth, he fashioned a lens which allowed him to shrink down to subatomic size or grow to the height of approximately 50 feet. Originally, his size and molecular density abilities derived from the white dwarf star material of his costume, controlled by mechanisms in his belt, and later by controls in the palms of his gloves. Much later, he gained the innate equivalent powers within his own body.

Powers: Eric can shrink to subatomic size or grow to approx. 50 feet maintaining proportionate density and strength. He still uses the belt if he has to shrink others down.

The Dark Scorpio

Batman + The Scorpion

Origin: Maxwell Wayne was the son of millionaire Thomas Wayne. Thomas came under the scrutiny of publisher P. Jonah White. White accused Wayne of underhanded business practices and filed various lawsuits all in vain. Wayne and White had been college roommates romancing the same girl. Wayne eventually won her heart and White held a grudge. The bitter rivalry culminated in White hiring a hitman to kill Wayne and his wife and make it look like an accident.
As it happened, the Waynes were leaving the theatre when the hitman confronted them, killing Thomas and Martha leaving young Maxwell an orphan. White then went on a tear destroying the reputation of Thomas Wayne sending his son into seclusion.
As he grew, Maxwell watched White. He spent his money keeping tabs on his illegal activities. White had grown more reckless since getting away with murder. The mafia family from which the hitman was hired drew White into their criminal empire.
Maxwell met a man who needed financial backing. That man was Winslow Pym. Pym needed money to become a hero. Maxwell wanted Pym to make him a suit. The suit would enhance the wearer's natural abilities and have access to weapons. Pym created Maxwell the identity of the Dark Scorpio for Maxwell and the identity of Genesis.
Maxwell finally ended White's reign of terror. Tales of his exploits reached the Masters of Justice and he accepted their invitation to join. He also brought Genesis with him. Months later, Genesis created one last gift for Scorpio before leaving the team.

Powers: The suit enhances the physical attributes of the wearer. It is a self-contained, self-sustaining suit in all conditions. It provides 3 cybernetic appliances; two in the form of retractable coil pincers and the third mimicking the scorpion's tail that can emit a bio-electric shock.

Impressive work! and the storylines are great as well! Very creative and innovative.

BANE OF ENEMIES:

Amalgam: Apache Chief + The Wrecker

Name Gareth Manitou

Origin: Gareth grew up on his reservation under the watchful eye of his father, the Shaman. He was the target for bullying by the son of the chief of the tribe because of an old prophecy that he would ascend to the chief's place. While on a hunting expedition, the Chief's son and his friends attacked Gareth. He was left for dead.

As he lay there, he was immersed in a vision. The spirit of the Great Sky came to him and blessed him with a tomahawk. He was renamed Bane of Enemies, and sent forth to exact revenge.

As he neared his tribe, anger gave way to sorrow. The Legion of Vengeance had destroyed the reservation, looking for the Tomahawk. Bane and Alexander clashed. Luthor retreated as he was not in shape for another fight. Bane vowed to hunt them down and make them pay.

Seeing his powers on display, Dynamo offered him a spot with the Masters of Justice.

Powers: Bane was blessed with a Tomahawk that draws power from the Earth. He may draw power from it, making himself bigger and stronger.

JAYDESTONE:

Amalgam: Green Lantern + Moonstone

Name: Karla Jordan

Origin: Karla was a Lt Colonel serving in an advisory capacity at Ferris aircraft. She was assigned to oversee gamma radiation testing. One day, the base experienced an attack by what was later described as "aliens". It seemed to be two different factions at war. They set off a chain reaction of gamma explosions that decimated the base. Karla was wounded but went to the aid of an alien that was trying to help her. His name was Abin Thanos. He took the green gemstone from his gauntlet and gifted it to her....then died.

Karla awoke in the VA hospital with the gem implanted in her chest and a NSA security detail outside her door. Karla panicked and took flight. She took to living under the radar.

Karla, hungry and tired, came upon a battle between Thunderhawk vs The Savage and Captain Coldwar. Instinctively, her powers erupted and brought her into the fray. The duo was captured and Thunderhawk was extremely grateful. So much so, he introduced her to the rest of the Masters of Justice.

Powers: Jaydestone can fly, become intangible, create laser bursts from her hands, and emit blinding light flashes. She can also create tangible constructs from this energy.

THUNDERHAWK:

Amalgam: Hawkman + Screaming Mimi

Name Carter Gold

The name "Carter Gold" used to be on the level of a Hulk Hogan or Sting. Carter Gold was a darlin' of the wrestling scene. Guys liked him, women loved him. He could do no wrong.

Until he was caught using steroids. He was blacklisted and shamed out of the business, his name forever ruined.

Using what little fame and money he had left, he constructed a harness that would allow flight, powered by a sound generator. He was sure he could get an acting gig or something out of it. As it happened he was seen by Genesis. Genesis looked over his rough designs and streamlined them into working order. He exponentially increased the output and even created his wand, a device that harnessed sonic energy taking the shape of any weapon the user desired.

Powers: Hawk can fly, emit sonic blasts or shields, and uses the wand, which will bend its shape to the holder's will.

DYNAMO THE NUCLEAR MAN:

Amalgam: Superman + Radioactive Man

Name Kal Kent

Origin: Smallville. The sleepy little town will forevr be etched in our memory as the place of great triumph and tragedy. For years after the famous meteor shower, the government began experimenting on the people of Smallville. Cadmus Labs had found that by exposing the unknown meteor rock to radiation, they could extract an almost self sustaining energy source.

So they began exposing the small town, littered with meteor rock to low and then eventually high levels of different types of radiation. That was when they discovered Kal Kent. Kal had gained awesome new abilities since the meteor shower. He passed every test with flying colors and more.

In their zeal, Cadmus unleashed gamma energy, the rawest form of radiation, into Smallville. The area exploded with what were eventually term "Doomsday Monsters". The government had no choice but to nuke the town. Kal (who had taken to calling himself Dynamo and helping America against foes foreign and domestic) tried to stop the strike. But he was too late. The town was gone.

Dynamo founded the Masters of Justice to prevent a repeat. To this end, he has gatehered Earth's greatest champions.

Powers: Dynamo can manipulate radiation across the microwave spectrum. Abilities include radiation emission as heat, "hard" radiation (inflicting opponents with nausea, dizziness, and radiation poisoning), and hypnotic light. He can also absorb nuclear radiation without harm and convert it to energy for personal use such as strength enhancement or to cauterize wounds, create force fields, and emit electromagnetic radiation to deactivate machinery. He also has enhanced strength speed, stamina, and flight.

Thanks guys, that really means a lot especially coming from this bunch of fine artists. Best answer on how I produce work so fast is....I'm old. for me it becomes a natural rhythm of repeated processes to come up with a figure. Then I add subtract or adjust until I am satisfied. As for content, I am (not bragging) a walking DC/Marvel encyclopedia. I have just read a LOT of comics. My favorite? Marvel Universe Handbook and Who's Who. Those were my jams.

I like these concepts. The only objections I have are Simon Grundy, since Solomon Grundy's name derives from a nursery rhyme, and the Dark Scorpio, which I think I'd be okay with if it wasn't for that pesky definite article out front. Captain Cold War is genius, and I like Dr. Sinister look AND back story the bestest. Make mine THIS GUY!
