this thread will be dedicated to doodles i do now and again. these won't be at any kind of regularity as work and home take precedence.
to avoid repeat threads, below is my first submission to these forums.

this is my second submission and a work in progress. as some of you know i am a member of the armed services. this was an idea i had for a while and finally committed to pencil and paper. sketch done traditional, inking digital (half mouse half tablet - can you guess which was mouse?). anyways i know it's still rough, but i'm working on shading and edging out the finer details now.
note: these are not my favorite mutants, just who i think fits well in what MOS (military occupational specialty). haha it sucks the x-men i like don't do have an attention grabbing job, without repeating grunt this grunt that over and over.
without further ado.
my x co.
edit: i noticed this is awful small. go to my gallery to see it fullsized. i'm also open to suggestions for additions to my roster.
2nd edit: see full size here. edited on tonis' advice.
my next non-contest piece. started out as a funny idea. inspired by the disney-fy contests (are those dead in the water now?). didn't see this and i thought it was such a perfect analogy; combining two of my favorite things. all in all - 11 hours. i love jae lee for his style and now i hate him because of how hard it is to homage. AND ALL because i really just wanted to combine lockjaw and bronx.
anyways: my inhuman monsters. (damn upload and it's pixelation ruined some of my blacks)
a new one. this one had a few starts and stops as i thought how to best approach this. in the end i tried to emulate as best i could, without completely imitating, the original style. eduardo risso is one of my favorites and i think "100 bulltets" is one of the two best books ever made by vertigo. i know the personalities of the minutemen i chose don't really match the personalities of their marvel counterparts, but eh, the names fit too well.
might add wasp a la megan deitrich style, her name is perfect for the trust anyway - janet van dyne.
introducing the vendetta men (or militia? either one)
