I tend to prefer digital these days, 'cause my scan reaaaaly sucks. Everytime I try scanning one of my "traditional" artworks, grey tones come out flat and light (even if playing with contrasts- which tends to destroy colors), black lines fuzzy, colors never came out good on screen, etc..
@Eyz: I scanned the portraits I made for co-workers and they turned out all right, but everything else may as well have been taken with my phone in the bathroom. That's what I get for buying my scanner at a yard sale.
@sesquipedalophobe: I don't doubt that (your scans that turned out alright), but I personally got a pretty sucky scan myself :/ Probably worse than yours, mine's like 10+ years old by now... Mmmh.. I should start scanning my stuff at work...
