So, the last digital painting I posted was bad. And I mean really bad. But since then I've been doing some more research into different techniques, and I thought I'd give it another shot. It's nowhere near the level I hope to be soon, but it's still a decided improvement over my previous try.

Anyway, here it is. Enjoy. :)

Suggestions on how I can improve are welcome. :)

@battle_forum_junkie:

In general you could add deeper shades, primarily behind him on the cape and cowl, to give a sense of depth. And in some places there appears to be shadows where there could be highlights. The bicep of the right arm for example could have lighter blue on top.. This is a really cool stylistic piece.

Nice Job.

@anbu_b_team: Thanks for the advice. :)

I definitely see what you're saying. Especially about the depth.

@battle_forum_junkie: didnt see your first painting but this is cool as hell. I second what @Anbu_B_Team said about the deeper colors adding depth to bring out your work. NICE!!!

You aren't missing out on anything. Like I said, it was bad. And thanks. :)

Dull colors/background and he is anatomically weird, lol. But otherwise it's alright, I suppose.

Could you elaborate on what about the anatomy could use improving?

His head looks too big and his torso and extremities too thin. His torso is specifically too long, and looks a lot weird. And his right arm doesn't have a shoulder. But don't get discouraged, lol.

Really love your choice of colours for this, very subtle and easy on the eye ^_^
