Also known as the Master of Fear and one of Gotham's ruthless criminal.
What will his re-incarnation like in 2099? Or is he going to be a she? The possibilities are endless but one thing for sure... he/she will bring fear where ever he/she goes.
This went horrible for me. I drew out a picture and even colored it with crayons (like a boss) and after all my hard work my copier/printer would not copy it. So I decided to take a picture of it with my camera and then I realized that the batteries were dead (dinosaur camera) and I have no more batteries for it. So.. I decided to try to RECREATE my masterpiece on my P.C using Paint. (-_____-).....
I have never used Paint before this and I will never use it again. It's evil..... It mocks me with all its FEATURES and ADVANCED SETTINGS.
So after hours (seriously... hours) of trying to master the touch mouse as a pencil I was finally finished. My Scarecrow looked like a donkey and my entire drawing looked like a very disturbed child (the kid from The Shining) drew it.
After looking at my complete finished artwork, I had decided to destroy it and send it back to the depths of hell where it was most likely born. But before I did, I decided to randomly change Scarecrow into Joker in a last act of boredness and frustration. I ended up liking it kind of, and it was a million times better than my Scarecrow drawing so I decided to keep it and post it because I did it for this purpose and what was the point of spending all that time drawing (PC Painting) it if no one was going to see it. Also, sorry for the long excuse for my bad artwork.... I just wanted you guys to understand why you're looking at cracked out Joker and not cracked out Scarecrow. (Not an entry, just for fun!)
For the fact that you had never used paint and because you actually used paint. That was a really good effort on your part. Hope you can eventually post your original.Congrats on your perseverance and effort!
@DomDom: freakin hell domdom, thats probably my favourite piece of yours out of all ive seen. great job. Im only assuming its a camera flash, but i think it works well :P
Here's my go. Crane never dies. In fact, he's a zombie that has free will. Over the years, he's taken in so much of his fear toxin, his body produces it. The toxin secretes from his fingernails and his poorly-stitched wounds. He rubs it all over his only weapon: a wiry pitchfork. Crane hasn't taken off his mask since the year 2048, the year he was bitten.
@Blizaga101: lol, Thank you! That is a very kind complement! But, yeah, i had to use a camera to catch the detail of the pencil and i played with the lighting, hehe. =)
This is what I got so far... Don't know if I'm gonna be able to ink this... so much to do so little time... kinda went for a younger (kinda emo) Scarecrow
After years of mutilating torture and brutal experimentation at the hands of the doctors of Arkham Asylum, the man, known only as Scarecrow, has become physically deformed and mentally scarred. Metal blades have been bonded to his bones making him a living weapon.
Dr. Jonathan Crane's body has been kept preserved for decades, re-animated with the use of biotechnology by a criminal mafia and given a military lazer staff fashioned into a scythe, he does the bidding of his masters to strike fear into enemies.
An accident occurred with Scarecrow, mystical in nature but not fully revealed. The result is that Crane is now stuck in a stasis state, and his mind and body automatically generates and produces all manner of creatures and other things based on the deep rooted fears and nightmares of the people he meets. He cannot control what his body creates, and in fact, the creatures become tangible and very real. He cannot control them and he needs help to destroy whatever he unwillingly creates.
He is forced to reside in Dr. Fate's Tower of Fate and is dependent on aid from him as well.
Forced to actually control his own fears and care for others instead of wanting to induce fear and terror, Crane does his best to avoid any and all human contact until he is able to revert his condition. As he is a stasis state and in a nexus of time, Crane has survived many years until the year 2099 but his is a life of misery and agony.
