DC 2099 #19 - Harley Quinn

Just realized we don't have a thread for this contest to see past contests so I have no idea if this was done before. If so we'll change it accordingly.

She's about to go through a makeover this fall but before then let's see how she'd look in 2099, Harley Quinn

yea, my memory only goes back to like #9 or so, no idea what went on before then. Since we're pinning this one now it might be a good time to get one of those threads to help when people gotta choose a new one :)

@tonis: I agree. I have wondered why there hasn't been one but I suspect it might be because there has to be a certain amount of entries for each contest before it gets pinned for a thread topside regarding past winners and topics. I've no idea how many that would be, but 19 of these thus far seems plenty to qualify. Guess we have to go back through all the previous posts to see but again, I don't think Harley has been a choice yet.

Interesting choice considering that the Dee Dee twins are already kind of the "Batman Beyond HQ." 
 

@fodigg: Interesting, but Tonis is asking for one Harley Quinn I believe and while these versions are more or less futuristic I'd say the choice is still open. There are bound to be some instances where a future version of a DC character may exist in one form or another. If we avoid using the above versions that you pointed out I think we should be good to go with this one.

@fodigg: I don't think anyone will riff off of it. I can't say I'd seen all of Batman Beyond and I barely remember these characters at all but it does help knowing they exist so we can avoid repeating them, actually.

Oh I wasn't implying it was a bad choice, mind you, not at all. I was just pointing out the official legacy so people can riff off of it if they want to.

I never caught much of Batman Beyond but those two look really cool, people are welcome to riff off that if they want. Hell, now I'm thinking of doing twins, although a little different :)

@tonis: Was trying to say I doubt anyone would use those characters simply because I thought no one would want to be accused of "swiping". Sorry, man, it is your contest, in my effort to defend your choice I end up looking like a complete ass...as is usual with me. Well, it is still a great contest idea.

I wouldn't say go and just make those two same characters, but if someone wants to make twins who are descendants of Harley it's all good here.

Long as it's got a Harley theme around it focused on 2099.

I have to say I'm intrigued with the idea of the kind of twins she might unleash, I'm gonna have to load up some Batman Beyonds :)

The Harley Quinn of 2099 has a costume made of a polymorphic polymer. This allows her to alter the structure of the costumes material,  which she does to create weapons. She also wears a gas mask that protects her from the toxins that the Joker uses.

There is something so wickedly cool with those blood splotches, it's the dark side of Harley I really dig. Great one Speedy.

@payno: man you really are a creative genius. Killer idea with the costume, it almost makes her like a psycho plastic man. Love that spiked poof ball too, very slick :)
