OK for this one I'd like you talented Viners to recreate the infamous scene in The Killing Joke where Joker bursts into the Gordon's home and shots Barbara in the spine.
Could you pin this please?
Deadline: 28/2
My take on this... but i have to say the original art and paneling of the comic arc is compared to none. Just the perfect blend of story and art. so my version is just a humble representation of that masterpiece. I also will narrate how the paneling goes.
Panel I. Barbara's half face shows disbelief; Joker's reflection is sen on her glasses. On her back, Commissioner Gordon is also seen but seems preoccupied
Barbara Gordon: Joker?!
Joker: (Off panel) My dear, it usually starts with knock knock..
Panel II. Joker is seen by the door. Barbara's silhouette body reacting surprised.
Joker: But then again you are always a kill joy.
Panel III. Joker smiles maliciously.
Panel IV. Barbara's eyes is seen up close and sweat starts to form on her face. She knows what terrible thing will just happen.
Panel V. The gun fires.
Narration: In her eyes, Barbara can only see flashes of her life. With all her adventures as Batgirl, how can it just end like this? She asked herself...
Panel VI. The bullet hits her back.
Panel VII. Commissioner Gordon shocked face
Commissioner Gordon: Barbara!
Panel VII. Barbara is face down with her body lying in her pool of blood, glasses broken and she looks like she is about to lose consciousness; Joker is at the back with a grin still holding the gun.
Barbara: (thinking) please God, don't let it end like this...
PANEL1:Joker is holding Gordon hostage
PANEL2:Joker holds and aims his gun
PANEL3:A Batfigure is running on rooftops(red captions indicate a voice on a intercom)
PANEL4:Gun barrel faces Gordon
PANEL5:Batgirl crashes to the rescue
PANEL6:Joker takes a batarang to the shoulder
PANEL7:Joker fires
PANEL8: Batgirl gets shot
PANEL9: Gordon is shocked

@IcePrince_X: dude!! That's amazing!! Your panel layout is really good and her visions of her past are really affective and original. Well done!
Thanks! my second attempt on paneling... really enjoyed it. Its been a long long while and i am really rusty at it.
