Costume Contest # 50 - Klaw

First, Thankyou for all the votes in the last round. Apocalypse has always been a favorite character of mine and re-designing him was a real treat.

As for this contest, I've always felt Klaw's look was a little ... odd. It's basically purple shorts and miniature satellite dish for a hand. I really think he needs some sartorial advice from the Comic Vine community. So have at it and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Deadline will be 8:00 AM Central Time on Saturday October 15th 2011. (I realize this is only about 12 days, but i didn't want to push it out to 3 weeks, that felt like too long. However, if it looks like people need more time I'll consider extending things out a bit).

Here is my redesign of Klaw. Because his body is make of sound energy I tried to give his body a more energy-like look. The metal parts of his costume are "energy binders", which help hold his energy form together. I also gave his sonic emitter a more lethal appearance.

@Decept-O: Thanks! I was thinking of how they might change his look if he were to appear in a Black Panther movie and decided that they'd probably want to move away from the spandex and go for something with a little more classy than campy. So I though I'd put him in a business suit with little nods to his past costume (zig-zag design in his tie, purple tights color in his sunglasses, etc.) Also, I'm sure it's hard to see, but his sound device emerges from his forearm and since he's probably in Africa and hunting Black Panther, I figured there's no better animal forms for him to produce than hyenas.

@cosmo111687: Pretty awesome. I was wondering about the sonic hyenas, so now I understand. Just thought you were showing what he could create with the sonic claw. Pretty sweet.

Man, everyone really kicked this up quite a few notches!

Love the wide variety of ideas we're seeing.

Was tricky trying to represent a being turned to sound but waaaay fun to think about :)
