This is a potential front cover for something new I'm doing with AweSam!

Yeah but that was to read and laugh at how bad it was. Not look at something good and give a serious opinion xD

@Om4zd: His right leg looks a little weird, the knee area really, but the rest is incredible!! It's ridiculously good. :)

The fingers look sort of small and stubby. The right leg looks a bit off too. Other than that, pretty good.

The fingers looked like toes at first, but I'm pretty sure it's just because they're bent.

I think it would look better. This is a different universe, in a way. We can make any change we want, so long as we don't change it too much.

Very nice. It's a little "sketchy" for what I consider cover art, but that may be what you're wanting. Regardless, the pose and posture is good, as a composition it draws your eye around the character. It's impossible for me to offer a proper critique of a partially finished work, but in its current state I'd call it "good, potentially great once it's finished". Show me an inked and colored version of this with a background and I can see it becoming something pretty awesome.

I'm coloring it as we speak. Do you think it would look good as comic art instead of just a cover?

Don't mistake my statements, it looks great. But in my mind the sketch lines make it seem more like page art than cover art in it's current state. I'll be eager to see the final version. I love the character and I'm certain this one will turn out great!

Actually, I was going to ask if you guys minded me inking this one for practice. I'm good at inking my own work, but I would like to get better at inking other peoples stuff. I wouldn't show it off or anything, just as an exercise. Is that cool?

I'm not that great at inking other people's work. It's nerve racking. You need to inject your own flair, but it feels wrong to do that. Ultimately, inking is an art unto itself and I'm thankful for the practice. I really appreciate it. Normally, I don't show off pieces like this. I usually only show pieces that are 100% mine from pencils to colors and all points in between. However since you asked to see it, here it is. I hope you dig it. :)

That looks fantastic. I'm just thinking of coloring, but inking it as well would make it even better. Nice job

Good luck with your book. I hope you show it off once you guys have more to show. Like I said, I love the character and the games he's from. It'd be cool to see some fiction with Cole in it.

Since we're changing the look I'm just going to post the picture now. I added an electricity effect instead of the hover power one. The amp and strap didn't come out so good and I rushed the electricity, so I messed it up a bit. What do you think?

@AweSam: Its actually turned out pretty good. Have you tried colouring the one zombie posted? I think it will look better when you do that XD But you don't have to since were changing it :) Do you just want another one orr?

I guess we should pick a new design, draw it, maybe ink it, then color. You should probably add a background to make it look better.

@AweSam: That is really fantastic man. Really nice.

You will want to put some highlights and shadow on Cole since the dance of lighting tends to throw off some amazing shading opportunities, but it's shaping up wonderfully. A+ buddy!
