Gonna go with this idea again because I can just see some real neat stuff coming out for this.

If you wanna, you'd be designing a character that serves as...well, an avatar to a deity. A deity is defined (via Wikipedia) as "a being, natural, supernatural or preternatural, with superhuman powers or qualities, and who may be though of as holy, divine, or sacred".

I'm thinking we could end this contest sometime 'round December 1st, unless anyone has any objection to that.

YES!! Loved this idea the last time and still feel the same way now, such a creative idea cause deities are so diverse and unique. :D

Still planning on looking into hindu mythology cause its such a colourful culture.

An avatar for Hecate, goddess of witchcraft and the moon and such:

Don't mind the dark area on the right, my scanner keeps doing that for some reason.

Heres my entry, Her name is RED and the deity is Lakshmi of hindu religion.

Ill post a full back story when i get home ( I did and it was bloody long but when i posted it was all gone so yeah :P)
