see EGoD, this is what happens when you keep feeding the beast. They start becoming the enablers here and you're never gonna be able to stop it :) I have to say, no matter how much I gotta do this month, I'm already reserving a brain cell just for this.

@DomDom: my God, does smoke actually come out of your hands when you start going too fast, you clearly are sporting some super speed behind those skills :) As always, adore your coloring and shading style. Like the angle you used, battles can be really tough to get a nice shot of both characters. This worked good for that. Also cute on the little tornadoes, like that little extra touch.
Storm better make that shot count, cause if Jean gets a chance back I think it's gonna get ugly with those two. Great work Speedy ;)
Can't wait to see what everyone else is gonna do with this battle. I have a feeling that there's gonna be a lot of entrys. Should prove to be really fun!

hehe, yea I would suspect Jean can cause some hand cramps :) It's a nice level of fire for this one, doesn't deter from the scene. Nice to see your take on Storm too. Think I've found my next addiction once you ween me off Phoenix.
@lorkalt: whoooweee, now that is a treat. The shading and coloring techniques are wild, especially on Storms leather. Her suit and boots are fantastic looking with those reflections. Great how you split the scene up like that too, and represented the weather from light to ominous.

@HomoSuperior: nice job HS, lotta different detailing in all the elements that really gives it a wild and chaotic feel. Which is what that battle would be :) Good job with the coloring too, like the special fx and the kind of 'shimmery' feel to Storms lightning.

Thanks, the main point was to try and make it look like storm has a good chance, which i think worked, other than that the colouring could have been better but it sort of fits the feel and style of the image that you mentioned: chaotic.
