Battle Contest #53

Since the summer movie season is here, I thought of any character from a Marvel movie or a DC movie or a Independent comic movie.

Examples could be, Superman vs Hellboy, or Wolverine vs Kickass, Batman vs Captain America.

With leaving it more open gives the artist a little more freedom, also feel free to add Hancock to the list if you wish.

Everyone finishing school and early vacation though maybe a month would be a god time to end, like June 19th.

Let me know what oyu guys think and if this topic is to vague.

@momarkey313: does they have to be from a live action movie or can they be from an animated film?

I was thinking live action, but animation too! Why narrow it!

Awesome colours in this -- and nice choice in characters. Lots of great details to keep me occupied, even with the sound lettering at the bottom. Super cool!

That is just scary -- Cyborg Superman comes of very menacing and Mr. Fantastic looks a tad concerned. I can see him stretching to the thickness of angel-hair pasta to get out of this hold but then again -- maybe not. :P

(nice touch with the reddish-hue you placed behind them in space)

Meep -- kinda like the ultimate showdown -- you did a great job with both of these guys and I really like the difference in their facial profiles. Little touches like the illuminated disks on the front of Thor's outfit go nicely with the lightening and the sheen to Superman's costume is done really well! Having Superman's logo on the front of the Mjolnir is pure cherry on top of icing -- great backdrop for the two of them.

picture quality isn't that great. cant wait to get my scanner. anyway, heres my entry: the flash vs hancock, spawn vs green lantern, thor vs black adam, wonder woman vs the spirit?, captain America vs batman, hulk vs superman, the phantom vs kickass, and the wasp vs howard the duck! wooo!

Eeek! I totally forgot about this! I'd better be quick.

Had to rush it, but it's better than nothing. Seeing as it needs to be movie themed, I thought I should go with movie versions of characters, rather than just characters who have been in films.

So I picked movie Bane vs movie Bane. :)
