Alright, after a bit of thought and a variety of ideas bouncing around in my head I decided to go the way of two villains.  Hopefully I can get this posted right with reference pictures, I have to use my laptop since my desktop no longer has any power, stupid modern technology....anyway here we are, remember the basic rules of the contests and you have 3 weeks to get this done, deadline is FEB 9.  That should give people lots of time and lets put a smile on that face...

Yeah, at first I didn't think much about it, but as I was trying to get my craptop here to co operate with me,  I realized that in looks they are fairly similar, green hair / green skin, tacky purple costume and that insane grin.

Was quoting a line from the Tim Burton Batman movie when one of the Mafia bosses asks The Joker 'What is with that stupid grin?".  Yes, though Green Goblin has always been a bit similar in appearance to an extent to The Joker although Green Gobbie wears a mask.   The similarities are there but was trying to be humorous ( in my mind).  Ha!

OH! lol, now if my brother saw that quote he'd know, after all I think he has every line from every Batman movie memorized.  Now if that was from Simpson's or Futurama then I'd know it ha ha ha.   Good one though, I bet some other Batfreaks er fans will get it .

Cool.  OH, yeah, hard not to have those lines in my memory, although it may not be 100% accurate.  You should jump over to Screened, I filled out the Tim Burton Batman movie quote Wiki with quite a few.  ( my username is Mr. Pink there ) Yes, I have no life.    Well, "Bit my shiny metal a$$"  won't quite work here but a "Doh!" will be appicable if this doesn't get some kick butt entries!  Can't wait to see them.

Oh, I didn't mean that I didn't like this Battle idea.  I was just merely reflecting on all the evil Goblin did to Spidy and Joker to Batman.  No, this is a really good battle plan =) 
I can almost invision Batman and Spider-man sitting up in the stands watching in complete joy, lol. 
 
 
I just tried fixing up the edges of my drawing now so I'll post it here for my final take. =)

I might be able to get in no this one and tap into my violent side. 
 
@Decepto-- great quote, my best friend and I use to use that one a lot back in the day along with a slew of others.  Nicholson's Joker is the much more quoteable one.   One of my favorite exchanges in that movie is when Joker is cutting up pictures and he's going back and forth with Bob about the different people.

The phrase comes to mind "you got your gun in my pumpkin, no you got your pumpkin in my gun".....or maybe not.   
 
Nice piece DomDom, you are just whipping out artwork lately.  Nice to see that I'm not the only one that still colours their work entirely by hand.

@EGoD:   I also color by hand.  I have a hard time with colors, have yet  to find the right materials to make them come out the way I want.  Yours come out really well, as does DomDom's and DarkWalker's I have noticed.  Other artists as well, but I just can't manage it the way I want.  Frustrating.
 
@soundbite:   Oh, yeah, so many great lines from that one.  I used to try and incorporate quotes from the Burton Batman movie into general convos at work when it came out.  I am that nerdy.  :)  

@DomDom:
No, my friend, I thought you meant the villains themselves, not the Battle choice.  I am not a big fan of either The Joker nor Green Goblin BUT EgoD came up with a great Battle idea, Yes Yes Yes!  Hopefully I think that is what you meant but I don't see your comment any longer.

I hear ya, I have a ton of coloured pencils and I did finally find ones that actually blend nicely, plus I find layering the coours helps give nice definition.   Heck I just bought another set of coloured pencils, I think I have around 200 of them.

Thanks, its just Pharaoh Atem.  I've been good, been around more lately since I stopped playing AION but I have a new computer today so who knows how long I'll stick around lol.

yea, I'll be the first to admit, I got a problem :) 
working 15 hours a day at home in front of pc's don't alleviate it much either, but it does make for some good vine time. 
I still got 2 years to go though before I can claim your achievements, if even by then.

ok, got what I could of these two nutcases baked. Well, half baked. Couldn't get a lotta time for this one unfortunately so it's a low resolution draft with nothing fancy. 
But I did give Joker his own ride, figured it'd be more of a fair fight, but so far he's just been pissing the Goblin off by running away.
