Awesome Art Picks: Wonder Woman, Avengers, Captain America, and More

Each week we search for the coolest comic book art that you won’t see in actual comics. The reason you won’t is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their websites, blogs, and Tumblrs. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.

Michael Walsh was at C2E2 last weekend and posted some commissions on his Instagram page.

Whoa that hair on mike deodato WW

I LOVE Samnee's Cap. That's the Living Legend I know & love right there! Asrar's Moon Knight piece, with both his suit & traditional costume, is freakin' AWESOME! DanielHDR also did a great job with his Daredevil, very gritty/atmospheric, capture the feel of the character & show. Ron Salas' DD, Kate Bishop & Black Widow were all pretty awesome, nailed three of my favorite characters in a row. I also love Hardman's classic Godzilla, takes me back to the classic TNT Monster-Vision Godzilla bashes they had- it was like monster wrestling to kid me & adult me, still love it. Lots of great art as always, but those were the highlights for me.

That Peter Nguyen Captain Marvel and Spider-Woman is the pick of the week for me.

I love what came out of that Ultron mystery art challenge and Mahmud Asrar though I still think there's something sickly about those characters

Deodato's WW has awkward looking legs, other than that it looks fine.

Kuder's Bizzaro sketch looks great, as does Asrar and Salas' work.

Yeah, some really killer MK & DD art this week.

A lot of great stuff here, not surprisingly.

Who is the half naked chick under the Catwoman pic?

they need to put Wonder woMan in a two-piece bikini version of her costume, with some thigh-high boots & garters. Maybe a Boob Window as well.

Someone should do the classical nude greek goddess artwork, just with Diana in it.
