This is the moment you've been waiting for all week. Throughout the week, we gather up the best comic book art that won't ever appear in comics. The reason you won't see them in comics is because artists often do sketches for fun or commissions. It's a great way for us to see different interpretations of the characters we love. Many of the artists even arrange commissions through their websites, blogs and Tumblrs so be sure to click on the links and check them out.
Brett Booth has been busy. He posted four sketches on his blog. He sells them after he posts so you have to be on your toes to get your chance.
== TEASER ==Philip Tan is still posting a bunch of sketches on his Facebook page. Check out the latest pieces.
Phil Noto posted a couple of the X-ladies on his Tumblr. They're looking good, as usual.
Mahmud Asrar posted a couple great sketches on both his Instagram and website.
Terry Dodson posted his FANTASTIC FOUR #600 Hero Initiative sketch on his Deviant Art page.
Paolo Rivera posted a Catwoman commission on his blog as well as a sneak peek for a WALKING DEAD sketch cover. Check out his blog for a look at how he captures different positions for his drawings.
Dustin Nguyen posted a Harley Quinn painting which he said was one part red and two parts funny. He also posted a peek at the New Year's BATMAN: LI'L GOTHAM on his Tumblr.
Chris Giarrusso has been posting a lot of his Mini-Marvels sketches and has a bunch of art for sale on his website. Some of them are already sold out so be sure to check what's available.
Skottie Young has been doing some animated TV-themed sketches on his website and offering them for sale. Again, you have to be quick to get one of these.
Todd Nauck posted some more of his art on both his Tumblr and Instagram. I love seeing that he drew Colossus in his new uniform already.
Denis Medri posted another Rockabilly Batman sketch along with one for The Hobbit on his Deviant Art page.
Gene Gonzales has been posting "Conventionless Convention Sketches" on his blog.
Joel Gomez some more sketch cards from the Beginnings line from Marvel/Upper Deck on his Tumblr along with a cool Alien.
Ryan Stegman showed us he can draw more than just Spider-Man and posted this great Ursula drawing on his Tumblr for Ashcan Allstars.
Agnes Garbowska posted more of her painted commissions on her Tumblr this week.
Michael Walsh posted a sketch for Justin Jordan's THE LEGEND OF LUTHOR STRODE on his Tumblr (someone needs to add that volume to our database!). The second issue of COMEBACK from Image drawn by Michael is on sale this coming Wednesday.
Mike Bowden posted this cool Autobots sketch on his Deviant Art page.
Peter Nguyen has been away but has returned by posting a sketch of Psylocke on his Tumblr.
That's it for this week. Hopefully the art will continue as things get hectic during the holiday season.
