Each week we gather up as many cool comic sketches we can find. These are sketches that won't appear in comics. Artists often do sketches and commissions and post them on their websites, blogs and Tumblrs. They're too cool not to be seen. Many of these artists also do commissions or sell original art on their sites so be sure to check them out for more information. If you're aware of any artists' sites we're overlooking, don't hesitate to let us know.
There's been a lot of talk and interest in Spider-Man lately. Paolo Rivera is no stranger to the character. He posted some recent Spider-Man related commissions on his blog.

Earlier this week we saw a Marvel teaser and it appears that Punisher and Elektra may be hooking up in THUNDERBOLTS. Phil Noto posted a sketch of the two along with Mary and Matthew from Downton Abbey and Thomas Jerome Newton from Fringe on his Tumblr.

Skottie Young posted a sketch of Chamber and Radagast on his site this week. Usually when he posts sketches he offers them for sale. Sadly, they are already sold.

Michael Walsh posted a couple pics this week on his Tumblr. He drew Dredd while watching the movie and also picked up the new Morbius comic.

Gene Gonzales posts several commissions and what he calls "Conventionless Convention Sketches" on his blog.

Denis Medri always posts a variety of sketches on his Deviant Art Page. Check out his Beatles, Darryl (from The Walking Dead tv show) and David Bowie.

Daniel HDR sometimes takes commissions through his Tumblr and Instagram. Here's some recent ones posted.

Chris Giarrusso posted a recent cover sketch on his website.

You might be wondering what the story is here. He posted on his site that he was supposed to draw Raphael but instead drew him with Michelangelo's nunchucks. He believes Laura Martin, who colored the sketch, put the word balloon in. The fan that commissioned it even got the comic professionally graded.
Todd Nauck posted a Power Man and Iron Fist sketch on his Tumblr this week. The pic really conveys the fact that you do not want to mess with these guys.

Robert Atkins posted a Superman commission and a Spider-Man sketch (he quickly did for his nephew) on his blog. He even colored it with markers.

Agnes Garbowska has been working on a couple prints she'll have available at Wizard World Portland and other conventions this year. They'll likely be colored. Agnes posted the early versions on her Tumblr.

Mike McKone posted a couple sketches of Spider-Man and Union Jack on his TwitPic page.

Sean "Cheeks" Galloway posted this Batman sketch on his Deviant Art page called "Pimp Slapped!"

That's it for this week. Hope you enjoyed the selections.
