It's no secret we really love great art. Each week we search for the coolest comic book art that you won't see in actual comics. The reason you won't see them there is artists often do sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their Tumblrs, blogs and websites. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out for more information.
Todd Nauck is a great guy and just one of the things I dig about him is his love for 80s X-Men. Check out his Wolverines, Psylocke and Jean Grey, along with a video he shot drawing Jean, posted on his Tumblr and Instagram and YouTube Channel.
Marcio Takara is a guy DC needs to put on an ongoing title. He posted several early sketches on his Tumblr.
It's always great to see Adam Kubert's art. Check out this Spider-Man sketch he posted on his Tumblr.
Agnes Garbowska posted on her Tumblr that she'll be at TCAF this weekend. She also posted some a Rocket Raccoon and Nova commission from C2E2.
Joel Gomez posted a couple sketch covers he did on his Tumblr.
Peter Nguyen posted this Spider-Man/Mary Jane sketch on his Tumblr this week.
Skottie Young posted several colored sketches on his website this week.
Paolo Rivera posted this Deathlok commission on his blog. I constantly say you should check out his site for his 'Wacky Reference Wednesdays' post so you can check out his process. He also posted various stages of his AVENGING SPIDER-MAN cover.
Gene Gonzales posted a pre-HeroesCon sketch of Supergirl on his blog.
Mike Mayhew posted a link to a Spider-Man/Green Goblin commission on his Twitter.
Check out this sketch Dustin Nguyen posted on his Tumblr. He said it's his daughter when she was a fairy. She's a ninja now.
Terry Dodson posted a Wonder Woman commission from Supanova on his Deviant Art Page.
Check out the Batman and Spider-Man sketches Rafael Grampa posted on his Instagram.
It's always great seeing Cheeks Galloway's interpretation on characters. Check out his Deadpool, posted on his Deviant Art Page.
Freddie Williams II posted a bunch of new art on his TwitPic page. I didn't even post it all here. Head over there to see more.
And that wraps up another installment. Hope you enjoyed all the great art. Everyone here deserves a round of applause. We'll have more next week.
