It's hard to believe a week has gone by already since the last installment. This is the point in the week we look back at all the really cool comic art artists have posted on their blogs, Tumblrs and Twitter pages. Artists often do sketches for fun or commissions and it gives us the chance to see their take on characters they might not normally work on. Many artists also arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out for more information.
Last week Todd Nauck was at the Long Beach Comic & Horror Con. He did several commissions there and posted a bunch on his Tumblr.
.
== TEASER ==Dustin Nguyen was also at Long Beach and here's another sketch with a candid moment between Batman and Nightwing posted on his Tumblr.
Joel Gomez was doing commissions at Long Beach as well. He's also working on sketches for the UpperDeck/Marvel 2012 Premier Sketch Card Set. Here's what he posted on his Tumblr this week.
I finally got to meet Mike McKone in person last weekend at Long Beach. He's a great guy. Check out these sketches he posted on on his TwitPic page.
You'll see another piece from those four and more at the end of this post.
I always say I want to see more from Marcio Takara. Sounds like he might be doing a two-issue stint on THE FLASH as Francis Manapul takes a couple issues off. Here's a couple sketches he posted on his Tumblr. The first we saw just the penciled version last week.
Denis Medri posted another Rockabilly Batman piece and a Conan one on his Deviant Art Page this week.
Skottie Young has done some Harry Potter sketches in the past. He posted some more 'daily sketches' which later go on sale on this site this week. I'd definitely read a Harry Potter comic drawn by Skottie.
Adam Kubert posted some commissions on his Tumblr this week as well.
Daniel HDR posted a few more commissions on his Tumblr.
Chris Giarrusso posted a couple sketches on his site this week. I always dig his take on the heroes but love it when he posts the classic monsters as well.
Cameron Stewart posted a few commissions on his Instagram this week.
Brett Booth has been working on some Death of the Family TEEN TITANS issues. Here's a Joker sketch he did last week and posted on his blog.
Michael Walsh has a comic coming out from Image this month, COMEBACK. Make sure to ask your local comic shop for it. Here's a couple commissions he posted on his Tumblr.
Paolo Rivera often posts commissions and other behind the scenes posts about his works on his blog. Check out this Wonder Woman commission he recently did.
Since last week was the Long Beach Comic & Horror Con, another installment of the Mystery Art Challenge was presented and completed by many. This time it was the Joker and a teddy bear. Here's the video followed by scans of the final images.
That's it for this week. Hope you enjoyed the selection. There'll be more next week.
