This is the point in the week that we sit back and enjoy gazing at amazing comic art that will never appear in actual comics. Artists often do sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, websites and Tumblrs. You can arrange your own commissions with some of them through their sites so be sure to check them out for more information.
Not only is Khary Randolph a cool guy, he's also a great artist. I first met Khary at C2E2 earlier this year when he took the Mystery Art Challenge ("Captain America and a Pizza"). Check out these recent sketches he posted on his Tumblr.

Paolo Rivera is often posting the commissions he does on his blog. He also posts lots of great behind-the-scenes reference shots that he does.

Have you read this week's AMERICAN VAMPIRE by Scott Snyder with art by Rafael Albuquerque? It was a punch in the gut. Check out this sketch of Aquaman Rafael posted on his Twitter.

Michael Walsh posted this elegant Wolverine sketch on his Tumblr this week.

Every time I see a Marvel character on Chris Giarrusso's website, I get extremely happy and sad. Mini Marvels was such a blast. Even the simply Wolverine head fills me with joy. He's also been doing a bunch of Image variants for their anniversary. Chris posted the penciled and inked version of the MORNING GLORIES cover.

Todd Nauck posted a couple sketches this week on his Instagram page. I really dig that Rogue.

I love Sean "Cheeks" Galloway's Superman posted on his Deviant Art Page. And check out his Link as well.

Daniel HDR posted more commissions on his Tumblr. I'm such a Space Ghost fan. I dug that miniseries DC published in 2007**. I'd love to see another but I doubt that will happen.

Joel Gomez posted some more Marvel/UppderDeck sketch cards on this Tumblr.

Mahmud Asrar posted a couple great sketches this week on his Tumblr. I love it anytime someone posts a Jean Grey sketch.

Mike McKone posted a couple sketches on his TwitPic page this week. Check out his Robin and THOR #252 cover recreation.

Agnes Garbowska has been in Japan at a convention. She managed to post this great Gambit and Juibilee sketch on her Tumblr.

What are your thoughts on Denis Medri's 'Rockabilly Batman' sketches? There is a fan page for the idea and check out his versions of all these characters he posted on his Deviant Art page.

Robert Atkins posted this cool Bucky/Winter Soldier sketch on his blog this week.

Mike Mayhew posted a couple Marvel Premier Sketch card on his Twitter page.

Brett Booth posted a few new sketches this week on his blog. The first is his rejected version of EARTH 2 Flash. Doesn't look bad to me. He also posted the Superman Family as well as Zealot.

That's it for this week. If we're missing any professional artist's site or blog, let me know and I'll get them on my radar. We'll have another installment next week.
