It's that time again. TIme to check out the coolest comic book art that artists love to do. They often do sketches for fun and for commissions. It gives them the chance to draw characters they might not normally get the chance to in their normal assignments. We all love comic art and these are too good to be missed. Many of these artists are available for commissions at conventions or directly through their blogs and Tumblrs. Be sure to check them out for more information.
Check out these sketches Gabriel Hardman posted on his blog. The Daredevil piece is his contribution for the Comic Book Legal Defense fund auction at SDCC this year. The really cool Ultraman piece was for sale on his blog.
== TEASER ==Tom Raney posted a couple commissions on his Twitter page.
Here's some commissions Freddie Williams II did at Phoenix Con posted on his Twit Pic page.
Chris Giarrusso posted two sketches this week along with the Tuesday Tribute on his site. If you ever see him at a Con, definitely stop by and say hello.
Daniel HDR posted some pics on his Tumblr and Instagram. You gotta love when Thanos and Madman get drawn.
Denis Medri posted this cool Red Hood sketch on his Deviant Art page this week.
Agnes Garbowska posted some more commissions on her Tumblr.
Peter Nguyen has been posting pics from his travels around the world and still managed to post some new sketches on his Tumblr.
Paolo Rivera posted a couple more commissions from last year's NYCC on his blog.
Francis Manapul is doing a Batman piece for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund auction. He posted the various stages on his Tumblr. Check them out.
Cameron Stewart posted this cool Judge Dredd sketch on his Tumblr this week.
Mike Mayhew posted some more sketch cards on his Twitter and check out the Steve Rogers sketch he did in just 30 minutes.
MIchael Walsh does a 'Sketch Request Mondays' feature on his Tumblr each week. He takes requests and draws one. They usually are available for purchase afterwards. Last week he did Daredevil.
If this Cassandra Cain/Batgirl sketch Marcio Takara posted on his Tumblr doesn't make you miss her, I don't know what will.
Finally, here's a couple sketches from Brian Buccellato. These were actually done back in February at Image Expo but they were packed away from when we moved offices. MODOK and Doctor Guerrero.
That's it for this week. My apologies if it was a little lighter this week but I'm still finishing up my vacation. If I missed anyone, feel free to email me or send me a pm.
