Each week we gather up the coolest comic book art that you won't actually see in comics. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their websites, blogs, and Tumblrs. Some artists even pre-arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.
Terry Dodson posted some commissions from SDCC on his Deviant Art Page.
Peter Krause started doing some 30-minute Mad Men sketches and posted them on his Twitter Page. Hopefully we'll see more.
Mike Mayhew posted some work-in-progress commissions on his Twitter Page. Always love seeing him draw Jean.
Dustin Nguyen posted, what he called, the laziest fan art ever. I think he captured the spirit nicely. He also posted a Damian style guide on his Tumblr.
Ryan Ottley posted an Invincible commission on his Tumblr along with another sketch he drew on the plane.
Philip Tan posted more art on his Facebook page. The Poison Ivy sketch has inks by Michael Jason Paz.
Michael Walsh posted a "warm up sketch" of Wolverine and posted it on his Tumblr.
Ray-Anthony Height posted some warm up sketches on his Instagram.
Joel Gomez was in a Guardians of the Galaxy mood and posted some sketches on his Tumblr.
Mike Maihack posted this X-Men commission on his Tumblr.
Kevin Wada posted another HeroesCon sketch on his Tumblr.
Peter Nguyen posted different stages of his Hal Jordan sketch on his Tumblr.
Ron Salas posted a pic of the Flash on his site.
Here's a couple more sketches from Todd Nauck. Check out his Tumblr to see a video drawing Black Bolt.
Yildiray Cinar posted a couple sketches on his Instagram.
Last week we saw Robert Atkins' Black Adam sketch. Here's the other half, posted on his blog.
Here's a couple more commissions from Agnes Garbowska. Check out more on her Tumblr.
Chris Samnee posted a Groot and Rocket sketch on his blog.
Kris Anka posted a Captain Marvel pic on his Tumblr.
Skottie Young posted some Daily Sketches and a Wolverine commission on his Tumblr.
Mike Henderson posted more of his "warm up" sketches on his Instagram.
That's it for this week. Let us know what you thought of these selections. We'll have more next time.
