Here are the results from the first ever Comic Vine Monthly Artist Showcase...
The goal was to showcase the diversity and creativity we have in the artist community on here and I am proud to say it blew all my expectations and imagination away. It is a treat to help show off all this amazing talent.

You'll find new and budding artists as well as many of our contest regulars. It's a wonderful palette of inspiration to enjoy.
Thank you to all who participated, you really helped make this an event.

Each category has a poll created with the first post displaying the choices.
I will create the March thread on the 4th and announce the first official winners to earn a 'Viney' based on polls at that point.

thank you sweety, and I am REALLY REALLY SORRY about messing that up in the traditional list. The brain cell blinked there I'm afraid.

And thank you all for the kind words and entries. Going through everything was the most fun any work could be. Very inspiring stuff all around.
I added an EDIT with CORRECTIONS for anything that I messed up and how to get around the issue. So far it's just the one but if you come across anything please let me know and I'll fix it ASAP.
Unfortunately I can't re-edit the polls themselves so if anyone else was accidentally omitted please PM to include them as your selection.

UPDATE:
I've decided to keep the poll count going until Sunday March 6 at midnight PST to determine February results.
I figured 3 days was a little short for some viners to get a chance to get on and see them. So we'll stick to a week on that in the future.
I'll be creating the submissions thread for March entries a little later today. Looking forward to seeing what you guys make this month :)

have been posted, minus 2 categories needing a little more polling to properly gauge.
Wish there was a bookie for this, I would have done well :)

A personal favorite, and all around exceptional example of what an artist should be.
He provides inspirational work constantly and is as much a character as any he portrays on paper.

actually there's still 2 categories waiting for a tie breaker.
And one of the cool things about using polls to get the tally for the winners is that they continue to do their job forever afterwards. You can always make a pick on any you haven't done yet.
