We've got a similar thread like this over on Giant Bomb.  Very cool.

Here are two of me that I did a while back.  This is NOT Photoshopped in anyway other than how I cropped it (meaning the colors and the effects were natural to the cameras that I used):

 Changed my attempt; good intentions
 Changed my attempt; good intentions

 the heaviest matters of the universe
 the heaviest matters of the universe
I'm always playing around with lighting and interesting symmetry in pictures.  These two are, personally, my favorites.  I'm also interested in different cameras.  The first picture I took on a crappy little Polaroid camera that costed me, like, $10 or so.  I thought that the interesting lines it made gave it that old antenna-based TV look, and so I thought the overuse of light in the front of my face would give it an eerie look.  The second one I took at work.  This is actually a slight overhead view, so that surface in the background is the floor.  Since it's a bit dark in our store and the camera I was using for this had a really bright flash to it, I thought it would do exactly what it did:  give a soft lighting that would accentuate the shadows as well as the creases and markings.  Did it VERY well.

As for the names of each piece, I name all my pictures after song lyrics.  The first is from 10 Years' "Wasteland", and the second is the song title to Gojira's "The Heaviest Matters of the Universe".

Nice shots......

@Precise:

Where is that boat yard?   Those are great.  Love the black and white look, then the sparks flying from behind the boat in the third adds great effect.

I like taking pics of the sky and objects there in, this is on of my favorite new ones.  Not as centred as I would like but nice none the less, lol.

what a wonderful surprise finding this topic, was beginning to think natural photography skills had been forgotten in this digital age of manipulation. Beautiful images from all.

@Armiv
I like your first picture of the sky. I am such a sucker with unusual colors of the sky.

@M.S. Feather
Love the boots o' garden... there is something whimsical about it and brings in a child like magic to the picture.

@Precise
I have a dog that looks like your puppy when she was still young.

@mikethekiller, photon
the macro shot of the poinsettia (if i am right) and the rhinoceros are great guys! Macroshots are really a breakthrough in photography that brings us to hyperreallism - a theme I am engross with.

@tonis:  Thanks.  I've never heard of the rule of thirds...shows how much of an amateur I really am. ^^  If I have some free time tomorrow maybe I'll just upload the video I made to Youtube and post that if you want to see most of them.  Hopefully the quality wont degrade too much. "
Yea. would love to see the video when you put it up. It's funny how many people don't know about the rule of thirds but tend to naturally follow it. Essentially it's the idea that when you compose an image you don't center your primary focus, instead you think of the picture broken into 3rds (like a tic tac toe grid) where you place things off center. It's mentally more pleasing to the eye and allows the composition to flow better, dead on center tends to feel somewhat 'static'.

@IcePrince_X: whooooaaa Ice, that is one rockin collection you have there. I know where I'm going to play with the figures :)
Keep showing them off, thats a great way to take advantage of a camera and those are very much worth seeing.

@ M.S. Feather
 All of them are certified true statues and not garage kits. But some really date back in the late 90s that is why the quality is not the same with the statues we have these days like the Psylocke statue by Neca.

I only have two garage kits, a witchblade mini statue kit and magik bust. But they are not picture worthy :-)

Nice video btw.

Thank you.

This is actually one shot out of a four picture sequence. This little guy pretty much stood there like that for about a good minute or two, only changing stance once or twice to make sure everything around him was okay.

suprisingly B.C. was a very shy cat and would not let anyone pet her.
I, being the poet, was able to just set down on the porch and the cat came to me.

Some old photos I dug up from my files. This was from a trip to the San Sebastian Church here in Manila. That place was just jaw dropping and enormous.

It definitely was an amazing structure in the middle of this unspectacular city. I'm glad it's still standing after a hundred years in this city.
