John Constantine is Coming to 'Arrow'

When NBC'sConstantinewas cancelled, it was quite the bummer for fans. After months of trying to find the show a home, nothing really worked out. However, today at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, it was announced that Matt Ryan, who played John Constantine, would be coming to Arrow. Here's a video of Matt Ryan making the announcement.

Not sure when this will happen, but we'll keep you updated as more develops.

It seems like this is going to be a one-episode deal, according to numerous reports on Twitter and John will be teaming up with Oliver. Hopefully, this will lead to bigger things.

.... alright we'll see how this goes. Glad to see John isn't dead. I just hope that Season 4 is better then the last.

Don't know why John would show up on Arrow, but it's nice to see Ryan get to play the role more.

I gave up on S3 of Arrow, seemed like a jumbled mess of now unapologetic Batman thievery, leading to a boring and predictable ending, but now I guess I'll have to give that a shot again and then S4. I sincerely hope he gets his own place on the CW though, so long as they don't trash it up. Please.

Constantine was my favorite show on bar with Flash, both are also my favorite comic book characters. I can't wait for it.

Constantine was the best comic book TV show I don't care what anyone else thinks. I love that they're all apart of the same universe.

I did not think this would actually happen. Great news. Constantine has some really great episodes. Hopefully we'll see more of him in the DCWverse's future.

I would say tho, I thoroughly enjoyed Constantine and wished it was on a better network. Hopefully, CW picks it up. My only gripe was that it wasn't "Magic" enough for me, too much cultism, not enough flash and flare.

The Hellblazers are gonna bombard the episode with viewership, and I cannot friggin' wait to be a part of doing so. This news makes me unbelievably happy.

I would prefer another actor but it's pretty cool nonetheless.

DC always owned the rights, they just set the show up on NBC, just like they did with Supergirl on CBS

unlike Marvel, DC never sold any of their rights

Constantine the series was pretty terrible. But Ryan as Constantine was very right and very good.

Magic base shows are rarely done right. Charm and supernatural are the few shows that are successfully with spell casters. I know there are more but those were the only ones that came to mine.

This is good for Constantine fans but it sounded like Arrow was already going to have its fair share of crossovers with Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Arrow isn't just some hub for all the heroes to hang out at, it should focus on Oliver Queen. I got tired of Ray Palmer in season 3. Maybe it'll only be one episode though.

@batwatch: they could, but from what I've seen in the pilot, it's being set up to be a different universe and don't think there's any real chance for Supergirl to join the CWverse

@justice_teen: weren't both those shows on the cw? they seem to have a decent track record with magic shows
