Search method not returning results?

I'm not sure when this started, but it seems that volume searches are currently returning empty results sets.

e.g. when I issue:

https://www.comicvine.com/api/search/?api_key={my_api_key}&format=json&query=batman&page=1&resources=volume

The api returns:

{"error":"OK","limit":100,"offset":0,"number_of_page_results":100,"number_of_total_results":887,"status_code":1,"results":[],"version":"1.0"}

Which is less than ideal...

The same search was returning the expected results last week, so this seems to be a recent breakage.

Anyone else seeing this?

Same problem for my app. This has happened before, but it was only occurring for a limited amount of time. Now it’s been broken continuously for a couple of days, and the app is basically useless.

Could we please at least get some feedback on what’s going on?

Okay, so I’ve just discovered that switching to www.comicvine.com/api seems to improve things. I can’t be sure, but it’s probably worth noting it in case someone else here is in the same situation.

BTW, the “old” API URL is supposed to be deprecated for 2 years now, but it definitely was the standard URL in the doc when I checked it out last year... so, there might be communication problem here.

Hopefully this gets fixed.
