Would u like 2 another Amalgam saga eg would u like 2 see dark claw, super soilder, speed deman, iron lantern, ect make a return. For those who don't know what the amalgam universes is its a comination of marvel and D.C . i personally would what do u think?
Marvel Comics and DC Comics
While normally competitors, a handful of times through the decades the two publishers have joined together to jointly publish individual issues.
Would you like to see another Amalgam saga
"Nighthunter said:a dark claw and moonwing team up"if done right, I would like to see more Moonwing"Agreed"
"danhimself said:"maybe if they just did it all over again with good writers and different characters"absolutely. the same characters would be boring. they would have to be different to bring that "how are they gonna do this?" feeling back"
that and some of the characters they combined are dead
I've just been thinkin a Quarterly would feed our fan fueled need for this cross over insanity to continue.
It could be called "Amalgam Unlimited Quarterly" and have a rotating cast of new and old mergers, artists and writers. I enjoyed the X-Men and 2099 Unlimited's and the Question Quarterly's. And it wouldn't hurt the pocet book to much at an $8-$10 price tag (x4=$32-$40/year), 80 pages.
What say any others?
I've enjoyed pretty much all the crossovers so far.....little dissapointed they did the Avengers/JLA the way they did, but I guess that was easiest way to get it done.
I think a series like the one Marvel did with (Image?) where they did a past/present/future incarnation of the characters (WILDCATS/X-MEN) in each issue for an Avengers/JLA would be cool.
" @Michael the Fly said:Well thats why editors exist, but your right." Yes. But only if it would be done properly. "which is almost impossible every writer has different opinions "
Yes. Only if it;s done right. They should leave all the editors out of the 2 companies.
Put 6 writers in a room. 3 DC and 3 Marvel and let them sort it out.
I guess
DC
Grant Morrison
Geoff Johns
Paul Dini
Marvel
Bendis
and whoever else is considered good.

I like who you put in the room from DC and Bendis is a good writer if he basically invented the character so that would probably turn out pretty well
Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times, YES! Again, it would depend on who was writing it and what artists they had lined up for each one-shot issue, but I would so love to see another Amalgam Saga :D. The original Amalgam Universe titles were (and still are) some of my favorite comics of all time, so another trip into that universe would be a dream come true. Plus, will all that's happened in comics since the initial run, they'd have tons of material to work with and amalgamate.
