In issue 30 of Astonishing, Was he killed? Or is this one of those "not dead until we see a body" things?

That still doesn't really answer my question...the place exploded, should that be counted as his death? has he been seen since? No one seemed to concerned

Death in comics is not a big deal anymore for me because every time some die most of them will come back examples... X-Man, Spider-Man, Hawkeye, John Proudstar, Captain America, Human Torch and I think Cable is going to make a comeback soon. So Forge will be back. Oh don't forget Nova, Superman, Batman, Superboy and well I could do this all day.

He's way to good a mutant to dispose of.

- Like Miracle Max said in The Princess Bride, he's only mostly dead

- Death in comics is only as permanent as the current writer wants it to be

Forge is a member of the upcoming "Cable & X-Force" series. So no he didn't die.
