    The Justice League...of Eeeeeeeeevil!

    The Good:

Lex Luthor and his band of villains have been great in this series. Seeing this team come together and Luthor's insight and motivations have been the highlight of the series so far. It's quite clear that this cobbled together team has nothing in common with each other but Luthor also sees reflections of himself in each member of the group. I thought this was particularly well done by GJ this issue. Another touching moment takes place between Bizarro and Lex of all people but I won't spoil it if you haven't read it.

I am also impressed with the way Johns has written Catwoman for this series. I haven't read much of her in the new 52 but really enjoy the way Johns has written her here as well as in JLA. She comes off as having genuine feelings for Batman while also retaining her classic sex appeal and flirtatiousness.

The art by Finch has improved each issue and is very good. His first issue was a bit shaky but I couldn't find a flaw with this one. His Bizarro is especially good and one of my favorite renditions of the character to date.

    The Bad:

Why would Batman go to the Batcave when he's already aware it's been compromised by the Outsider? That felt very off to me and I also thought his Kryptonite had already been stolen. Maybe my memory is failing me but that just felt off to me.

I am hoping some of the many questions we've seen have time to be answered in the next 3 issues. That doesn't necessarily qualify as bad just concerning.

    The Score:

This has been a pretty good event so far. There are some things that I have felt deserve more focus and questions that need to be answered but that's a minor complaint.

    3.5/5

This would start to change slightly in this issue, as Geoff Johns starts to implement more interesting developments, utilising previous Justice League material perfectly. Johns would also continue to add a lot of suspense and drama in this issue, and with it still lacking ever so slightly in the development region this would be a much needed addition. Johns would also start to bring more of the big time players together in this issue, cultivating in some fantastic character interactions. On top ...

Does this story need 7 issues to be told? (Spoilers) 0

Earlier this year Dan Dido and Jim Lee were discussing Forever Evil and one of them must have came up with the idea of Peter Jackson writing Forever Evil instead of Geoff Johns so they can make it longer and get more money. In the 4 issues we have had The Crime Syndicate has taken down several villains and remaining heroes. Lex has his Injustice League and Batman and Catwoman have started to make progress on how to take the Crime Sydnicate down. But by no means is that a bad thing, Things start t...
