Fontanelle was a telepath hired to find out Gambit's role in the Mutant Massacre. She is the daughter of Amanda Mueller.
Fontanelle was hired by the New Son to help figure out Gambits role in the Mutant Massacre and also help to manipulate Gambit to push his powers to the limits. Fontanelle eventually found out that Gambit would meet her mother in the past. After finding this out she through subtle manipulations helped Gambit against the New Son and was fired.
As the daughter of Amanda Mueller that makes Fontanelle the great aunt of the summers brothers.
