Fong's granddaughter is saved from a complex degenerative disease developed by Dr. Johnson. Fong swears himself as Dr. Johnson's protector until the time where he can return the favor of saving his life.
When Iron shows up with a message from Big Daddy, Fong kills the bee that was going for Johnson. Since Johnson's allergy to bees is life threatening, this fulfills Fong's service to Johnson.
Fong trained John Chase (Maiden's father) in the special forces. It is said that he could defeat a squad of armed soldiers even though he's in his eighties.
