Though Zecora lives alone on the outskirts of Ponyville, she is always willing to lend a hoof when needed.
A zebra who speaks only in rhymes and lives in the Everfree Forest, most Ponyville residents were suspicious and scared of Zecora because she was so different. Only Apple Bloom was brave enough to go talk to her. The Mane 6 followed Apple Bloom into Zecora's home, intending to rescue the filly, but when they did, they were exposed to Poison Joke-- a plant that causes silly symptoms. They all blamed Zecora for their plights, accusing her of cursing them. But Zecora was kind enough to mix up an herbal remedy to turn all the ponies back to normal.
She is a master of herbal remedies and potions.
