    X-Men: First Class #9 - The New Recruit; How the Black Widow got her Mod Look by gc8 on December 25, 2011

    Marvel Girl, The Black Widow and The Scarlet Witch team up in this girl power issue of X-Men: First Class that goes nowhere fast.  There's a lot not to like here - starting with the art. I thought it couldn't get worse than Roger Cruz. But Cruz only does one page of the issue, the rest is done by Julia Bacellar credited as "Julia Bax" and Kris Justice, whose combined effort looks medium-grade fan-art - seriously. It's like a Deviatart fanfic issue. Proportions are off, these ordinarily beautiful...
