    The golden age was bad for recycling plots but in this case it almost feels as if the plot is being recycled within the issue.  In the first story, Steve tricks Diana into agreeing that if she can go one day without any need for her heroics then she should retire.  He then proceeds to take her to places he thinks should be super safe (but then of course aren't).  In the second story Wonder Woman gets a diary from her mother but doesn't know what to put into it.  Almost on cue things start happen...
