    This Is Why Wonder Woman Kicks Ass! 0

    Is there anyone Gail Simone can't write?! Power Girl's guest appearance is fantastic as she battles Wonder Woman after being coerced by the five very creepy sons of Ares. There's great personal narration from both super powered women as they reflect on their opinions of their opponent. And while I was a tad disappointed that it's being made to seem that Karen is as powerful as Diana, it was wonderful to see that the Amazing Amazon's high level of martial skills and diplomacy separate her  from o...

    Woman and Girl 0

    As the second part of a relatively short two part story arc, this issue accomplishes what it is after easily enough.  I am never such a big fan of hero versus hero battles but here it is handled adequately.  The sub-plot with Achilles is handled well enough but really what most would be interested in here is the melee between Wonder Woman and Power Girl.  There are some good moments (like when Diana gets punched into Canada) but really the best moments are when Diana knocks Karen out of her spel...
