    When a mummy from China is excavated, archaeologists are thrilled to find the remains of an ancient warrior princess. Much more puzzling, however, is the statue of Wonder Woman laid beside her! Follow Diana as she travels across the world, and time itself, to crack the mystery! In our second story, when a prisoner escapes Transformation Island and steals objects of incredible power, how can the Amazons defeat their own magic?

    "The Riddle of the Chinese Mummy Case": Wonder Woman goes back in time to ancient China to aid a princess and to discover why a statue of Wonder Woman was found in a 2000-year-old mummy case.

    "The Foor Dooms": Inventa, an Amazon criminal, escapes from Transformation Island and frees it's prisoners. The prisoners take over Paradise Island and force Wonder Woman and Hippolyta to the Island of Four Dooms.

    Wonder Woman #207 - The Riddle of the Chinese Mummy Case by razzatazz on May 03, 2011

     This issue shoes Diana discovering an ancient scroll in an abandoned elevator shaft below the United Nations.   The first is a retelling of a golden age story where Diana travels back in time to fight with Amazons in China and ends up building the Great Wall of China.   The second involves Inventa stealing Hippolyta’s girdle.   I assume this one is also golden age from its tone but I haven’t personally run across it (yet).    This whole issue is kind of weird – I suppose at the time it might ha...
