    "The Witch & the Warrior," Part 1 of 3. The Earth still is repairing itself after the events of "Our Worlds at War." So naturally, the evil sorceress Circe decides to take advantage by transforming the weary male heroes of the JLA, JSA, Titans, and Young Justice into fantastic creatures that a cadre of super-villains will hunt down and kill! Wonder Woman must assemble a team of Earth's greatest heroines - including Power Girl, Doctor Light, Vixen, Black Canary, and Troia - to save the heroes, while she saves Superman.

    This issue is suffering from the lag that Our Worlds at War dropped on the series (and really the entire DC universe.)  The first part of the issue deals with people mourning the losses from war and trying to re-establish order.  There is a scene with Diana yelling at a goddess's statue which doesn't do much to advance the story.  Afterwards Circe shows up again and starts transforming all men into animals while letting loose most of the female villains.  In what seems to be too much of a cliche...
