    "The Terror Trees of Forbidden Island." When alien invaders attack Paradise Island, the Amazons at first repel them with the dazzling power of the Sun Sword, which has incredible power for one year. But the weapon peters out in the attack, the year's charge being used up, and Queen Hippolyta sends Wonder Woman to Forbidden Island to wrest another Sun Sword from within one of the Trees of Vengeance.

    Wonder Woman #143 - The Terror Trees of Forbidden Island by razzatazz on July 13, 2011

    This issue is comprised of two stories, neither of which is very compelling, but they are least reasonably well paced and the logic behind them is sound. In the first the Amazons must stop an alien invasion of Paradise Island and in doing so Wonder Woman has to retrieve a sword from an island where trees come to life and attack people.  The second story deals with Mouse Man, recently escaped from prison who is looking to exact revenge on Wonder Woman.  This had another one of those inexplicable ...
