Once again, a mindless Wolverine is raging out control, a danger to everyone around him. But this time Cyclops is ready. He's always feared this day would come again, and he's ready and willing to do whatever it takes to end Wolverine's rampage once and for all. He's even brought along a few friends to help him: Magneto and Namor. Don't miss Part One of the action-packed new arc, "Wolverine vs. The X-Men."
Wolverine's soul is back in his own body but a horde of demons are now laying claim to it, so after Cyclops learns from a beaten Colossus that Wolverine is not in control he takes Magneto, Namor and Emma Frost with him to the Mainland to deal with Wolverine.
Meanwhile on the mainland Hellstorm, The Ghost Riders, Mystique and Melita are trying to deal with a rampaging Wolverine. This is when Cyclops and his Wolverine extermination team shows up. The two groups argue about how best to deal with the situation.
But the argument comes to a streaking halt when Wolverine slices through the Ghost Riders and almost kills Melita. Cyclops orders Magneto to end it, and the Master of Magnetism uses his power to start ripping the Adamantium out of Wolverine's body.
Meanwhile, inside of Wolverines head, Wolverine tries to fight the demon that possess him.
