In part three of the 'Vision Quest Saga', the team must reconcile with a newly constructed Vision. Will Scarlet Witch find the automaton she loves in Vision 2.0?

Various mutants appear on TV screens only being assessed as potential hosts for That Which Endures. They do not make an actual appearance. The mutants shown include: Angel/Archangel, Apocalypse, Avalanche, Banshee, Beast, Blob, Caliban, Callisto, Cannonball, Black Tom Cassidy, Cloak, Colossus, Cyclops, Cypher, Dagger, Dazzler, Destiny, Firestar, Forge, Havok, Iceman, Karma, Legion, Madrox the Multiple Man, Magik, Magma, Magneto, Malice/Polaris, Mandrill, Marvel Girl/Jean Grey, Mastermind, Mesmero, Mystique, Nekra, Nightcrawler, Phoenix/Rachel Summers, Pyro, Quicksilver, Rogue, Sabra and Sabretooth. Scarlet Witch is also depicted but does appear within the issue. Karma is incorrectly colored with redhair leading to her being misidentified by readers as Moira MacTaggert or Madelyne Pryor - neither of whom would fit the alphabetical ordering or are mutants.

Note: features the first cameo appearance of John Walker as U.S.Agent.
